Candy Cane Lane

We’re lucky enough to live a few blocks away from Candy Cane Lane.  It’s a cute little cul-de-sac that goes all out for Christmas.  This year is their 50th anniversary.  I would love to live on this block.  We’ll have to keep an eye out for a house for sale.  Our priest, Father Tom, lived there when Candy Cane Lane first started and I just love the idea of it.

We walked up there on Saturday so the boys could look at everything up close and personal.

This is the best one by far.  Go Jayhawks!

I tried to take a picture of the street at night but this just doesn’t do it justice.

If you live in the area, there’s another good house to take your kids by.  It’s on Falmouth, just south of 75th.  The guy goes all out and decorates his front rooms, garage, roof, etc.  You name it, it’s decorated.  You have to get out of your car and walk up to the house to get the full effect.  It’s packed every night but worth it.
