Kenny won the entertainment book sale at his school (mainly due to my MIL selling 7 of the 12 to her co-workers – thank you guys!)  His reward was 45 seconds a money machine, which is one of those things where the air blows money around while you try to catch as much as possible.  We prepped him ahead of time by telling him to grab some money, stick it in his shirt and then grab some more.  But, he was so excited when he got in it that he completely forgot and just grabbed a handful and basically held onto it.  He only came out with $3 but the first place seller was guaranteed to win a certain amount no matter what so he was more than ecstatic when all was said and done. 

Fundraising

It’s fundraising time at Kenny’s school already.  Here’s what we’ve got going on:

1.  Entertainment books: 

Kenny won this contest last year thanks to many of you.  This year, the books are $25.  They are huge and include:

-Five $5 off coupons to Price Chopper when you spend either $50 or $75.  You make your money right back with these.

-$5 off cards to TGI Fridays, Nick and Willy’s Pizza, Great Wolf Lodge, Jiffy Lube and AMF (bowling). 

-Coupons for places like Granite City, Howl at the Moon, Blue Moose, Old Navy, Harry and David’s, Wonderscope and lots more.

2.  Walk-a-thon:  If there are any family members that don’t want an entertainment book, Kenny is also collecting money for his school walk-a-thon in October. 

After these, we won’t have anything until the cookie dough sale in the spring.

Who wants one?

Kenny is raising money for his school by selling those entertainment coupon books.  If anyone is interested, they are $20 for the KC area.  There are 5 coupons for $5 off at Price Chopper if you spend $50 or $75 (and seriously, who doesn’t do that anyways) so you make your money right back.  The book is huge and has coupons for other such places such as:

– A ridiculous amount of restaurants (Planet Sub, Blue Moose, TGI Fridays, Cactus Grill, Buca di Beppo, etc)

– Bars (Howl at the Moon, Johnny’s, etc)

– Stores (Dick’s, Aeropostale, World Market, Ace, Radio Shack, etc)

– Random other places (Wonderscope, AMC, CoCo Keys, Science City, car rentals, amusement parks, etc)
